Swedish design VAGA jewellery

What does Scandinavian style  mean for you? For me it means  lasting sophistication, simplicity, quality and timeless design. Oh, I forgot to use words as unique and inspiring...
VAGA was established in 2007 by two cousins, Ingela and Elice. The company is located in the region Dalarna, in the oldest town Hademora. All the jewellery is nickel free.

The jewellery are made out of freshwater pearls, ceramic, a big hint of crystal and fabric.

Mix and match as you like.

VAGA means DARE in English.

It will stay elegant very long

How do you organize your evenings? It's not a strange question for mums like me. Yes, I miss David so much just after when he goes to bed, but it's the only time of the day when I can allow myself  just to relax....

Sunday dinner

Today we had guests. It was lovely to see old friends and have Sunday dinner at home. I made chicken tagine with caramelized pears, leek and salmon quiche, pavlova with berries and raspberry sauce. You can brighten up these  dark winter days by having delicious meal,  red wine and of course good old friends  at home.

Rustic and homemade Sourdough

Not very long ago I started to bake a bread. I bought a Panasonic breadmaker and getting fresh organic bread was taking only four hours. But after a while I started to think about baking my own sourdough. I was working hard and after four attempts eventually got the sourdough starter. Oh, how happy I was. Now it's like my pet, I feed it, look after  it, check regulary how it's breathing.

Do you like perfect mornings?

I do. I do like my weekend mornings, when I can have fresh coffee and  jam crostini made with love by my sweet husband or any other mornings when we hold coffee mornings with  friends, chatting, joking and sharing gossips.
Tommorow will be one of them.
